Hands down, to this day a piece that gives me the chills. Back when I made Leopards Frontier, I really didn't plan things out appropriately. The story suffered, but your composition brings me back to the original idea - every time.

So! For one, thank you so much for choosing that particular piece for a musical composition. I love what you made here!

I wish you had messaged me so we could perhaps speak a bit about the tone of the image and story relating to it so it could be more wholly reflected. While I love what you have made, its a bit too high energy.

I find the 2nd half of the composition superior and far closer to what I imagined the sound design for this particular tale would entail. Its quite lovely with a haunting implications, if just a little too uplifting for so terrible an event as warfare. I frankly wish that segment received more attention and elaboration.

The overall piece is a real treat to hear, and I am happy to have heard another piece from you based on my stuff! Please feel free to message me in the future if you're looking for new ideas!

Appreciate the review! Very awesome art piece you made. Had alot of fun. I wasn't sure by the rules if I was allowed to communicate to you about the art beforehand.

Still one of my favorite tunes on Newgrounds.

DanJohansen responds:

Glad it is still appreciated 4 years later

he build-up that you present here is, in my opinion, backwards. The high point, energetically, in the song actually starts off in the beginning. That said, the slow paced tension of the buildup afterwards never felt like it was unnaturally progressing. Its pace was slow and deliberate and it works. You make good music bro, I hope you keep at it.

Most definitely digging the Futuristic/Noir vibe your track takes on. Your mixing certainly seems on point. There's no part of this I can hear that needs feedback to improve. The only part that I personally didn't too much care for was that the lull at 3:28 didn't necessarily pave the way for anything that wowed my on the far end of the pause. Aside from that, I thought the track had a spectacular beat and overall fine balance of electronic instruments and the light touch of vocals. Good piece, buddy!
Sorry, I'm not the greatest at reviewing audio.

The melody here was absolutely beautiful and entrancing. At about 1:32 or so I felt there was a slight bit too much reverb added. And in my opinion, the choir segment was a little too muddled to understand some of the lyric.

That said, this was an absolute treat to listen to. Thank you for creating it.

Thank you for listening, and for your forthcoming, honest review -- I truly appreciate it! <3

For a 1st audition it wasn’t bad. But 2 things bothered me.
1.) Your mix quality was not great. I’d consider investing in something of higher quality.
2.) I didn’t get a feel for any sort of *change* in your voice. As in the flexibility of it was lacking. Then again, I don’t think that was your goal.

Hope to hear more in the future.

The professionalism in your performances is certainly obvious and you definitely have dedicated yourself to your craft. I try to give productive feedback when I review but you seem to have everything locked down tight.

Highly exceptional work, very broad.

You’ve got a serious taste for comedic timing man. In addition, your vocal range seems quite broad and the enthusiasm in your performances are palpable. You deserve some work.

I’d like to hear some more dramatic performances as well. You’ve got good over the top performances. I’m curious to hear your more reserved performances.

DrEojPuerte responds:

Thank you sir! I've never really done too much serious work but I'll definitely keep it in mind for future demos and the like!

But them some super kind words my mans thank you so much!:D

I love the synthetics of this piece as well as the mood it sets.Sorry, I'm not so good with audio terminology. But boy, is it far too quiet.
Was that intentional?

SentinalMusicInc responds:

Yeah it was, this wasn't too loud of a loud song as I wanted to sound dark and have an epic mafia sound to it. Idk why, but I just love the old mafia days with T-model Ford getaway cars and the Tommy Guns oh and the cold m1911 pistols! It was just so epic back then!
