I loved it. Heartfelt, meaningful, and expressive. My only gripes would by that some of the 3D art, particularly the ships, stood as stylistically different from the rest of the imagery and slightly took me out of the film just a tad.
That’s my only gripe though. The setup and payoff are excellently handled. And the animation itself is excellent, particularly through your 3D/2D blend. Hats off to you!

Hands down, to this day a piece that gives me the chills. Back when I made Leopards Frontier, I really didn't plan things out appropriately. The story suffered, but your composition brings me back to the original idea - every time.

I wish you had messaged me so we could perhaps speak a bit about the tone of the image and story relating to it so it could be more wholly reflected. While I love what you have made, its a bit too high energy.
I find the 2nd half of the composition superior and far closer to what I imagined the sound design for this particular tale would entail. Its quite lovely with a haunting implications, if just a little too uplifting for so terrible an event as warfare. I frankly wish that segment received more attention and elaboration.

For an image displaying a wartime scenario, this has to be one of the most serene images I've seen displaying the subject. Fireflies, twilight hours in an otherworldly place. Images like this are the sort of adventure and foreign settings men dream about.
I usually look for some sort of constructive criticism to give to other artists to help improve. You clearly need none.

I have a suggestion that will improve your work dramatically. I highly, highly suggest you take some time and study anatomy. I understand you're drawing off of the style of anime. That is good. Anime is good. However, it is a style and not a starting point.
Drawing is a labor of love. You need to understand and respect reality. After that, you can stylize. After that, the rest is easy.
Trust me... I was there.
